Community Outreach

Community OutreachFrom our founding in 1964, The Singing Angels has always worked hard to give back to the community. From benefit concerts to food drives, those involved in The Singing Angels recognize the importance of being an active participant in community affairs. The annual Reserve Chorus Caroling Crusade at Christmas-time is but one example of the group's commitment to service. The Singing Angels provides at least 30 programs yearly free of charge to area nursing homes and hospitals.

The Singing Angels gives more than their music. Outreach initiatives have included raising over $5,000 for the victims of the September 11 tragedies, donating food to Harvest For Hunger, and creating a relationship with the Feed-A-Family program. Here is a brief list of some of our recent outreach activities:

  • Christmas Caroling Crusade -- a 30-year tradition in Greater Cleveland -- in which teams of Reserve Chorus members entertain at 30 area nursing homes and senior centers
